I've been busy crafting during SP's (rather brief) naps and I finished half a dozen new Christmas girls. I dithered over whether or not to put wings on them - I only have a couple of sets left - but decided I liked them just as they are. It's so nice to actually finish something!

Angels are up!
Finally, some Christmassy bits and pieces are finished and up in my Etsy shop. There are still a few more to come, and I'm all out of good feathers for wings, but I think they're kind of cute. Now, people, shop! http://www.etsy.com/shop/heartsinasia

A poem
Cold, Cold, go away.
Tired of complaining
every day.
Head hurts
and nose awash.
Why do you torment me,
dreaded Virus?
Immune System,
where have you gone?
Sending me to bad poetry.
Or the dogs.
***
Clearly other people get a bit illness fixated from time to time.
Interesting. This is soap. (from this Etsy seller)

Or maybe I need this 'friendly antibiotic'? (from these people)

Actually I think I just need some echinacea (from this artist)

How nice.
I found something sweet on the ground today: an pale blue egg shell speckled with brown, blown out of a tree nearby after the bird hatched and landing in my yard under the washing line. It's paper-thin but much more fragile. I can hardly wait until SP is old enough to share my excitement at such precious things.

On my travels through Etsy I found this simply lovely 'Robin's Egg' set of nesting bowls by Alina Hayes (http://www.etsy.com/people/alinahayes). Tempting, tempting...
